ChangeVue 2011 is a simplified version control system with very few pre-requisites. It integrates directly with PrimalScript 2011 and any other SourceSafe compatible editor, or can be used entirely on its own. It follows the basic model of check-in / check-out, and automatically retains old versions of checked-in files and allows you to review and retrieve older versions at any time.

Add files and folder to your repository with a single command.

Includes a simplified setup procedure that automatically creates a repository for you. ChangeVue's built-in editor now has code folding and syntax coloring support for SQL, C, C++, and C# added to its existing support for PowerShell, VBScript, JScript, HTML, ASP, XML, Python, and Java.

ChangeVue has been updated from the inside out. The core engine has been overhauled. Speed improvements have been made throughout the product. The UI has been updated to the Office 2010 style. And our PowerShell syntax coloring support in the built in editor has been updated.

 

Drag and Drop - Not only are our commands easy to use and remember, but ChangeVue's simple drag and drop operations make moving or copying files, folder or projects easy and fast. You can even create a new project folder or add files to an existing project using drag and drop.

 

Windows 7 Interface - ChangeVue 2009 uses the simplified Windows 7/Office '08 Ribbon interface. All of the commands are easy to locate and at your fingertips. Dockable panes in the UI allow for easy customization of the window elements.

 

Multi-document interface - A tabbed multi-document user interface allows you to view and edit multiple file histories, difference views, search results, text and binary editors and more, all at the same time.

 

Multiple Repositories - Keep keep your source documents organized. With ChangeVue 2009 you can connect to multiple source control repositories at a time. So if you have different groups that have no need to see another's documents, you can create multiple repositories and keep each group separate. If any group needs to cross over and have access to another repository, it is simple to give them access and they can have simultaneous access to any repository.

 

Multiple IDE support - Keep your existing development tools. Add simplified version control. ChangeVue supports Microsoft's Source Code Control API (MSCCAPI). This support allows ChangeVue to plug into many major IDEs, such as Visual Studio, PrimalScript and a number of other popular editors.

 

Built in editor - Sometimes you just need to make a quick change in a document without the hassle of starting your development environment. ChangeVue includes an integrated syntax coloring editor that makes minor changes in your source easy and effortless.

 

Enhanced speed and control - Work faster and simpler. ChangeVue gives you enhanced speed and control for standard version control operations like Get Latest Version, Check Out, Check In, Undo Check Out and others.

 

 

File and Folder Histories - View and manage histories of individual files or entire folders.

 

Flexible search - Find files quickly. ChangeVue has easy to use search features that enable flexible searches based on file names, comments, or file status.

 

Synchronization view - ChangeVue's exclusive Project Compare (folder/repository synchronization view) visually informs you about the status of files in your repository as compared to the files on your local drive.
