DSRAZOR provides you with an easy-to-use interface that can easily collect and export
data to file for further analysis. Data can be collected interactively or as a scheduled
task on your local desktop. DSRAZOR’s data mining abilities include quickly customizable
queries and user interface. All DSRAZOR applets can be customized to run as stand-alone
applications – this means there is no “mega console”, just the exact applet you need to
complete your requirements.

DSRAZOR includes a designer interface that you can use to modify any of the existing
ready-to-run applets to do exactly what you require. This point-and-click interface
includes 100s of ready to use ADSI, LDAP and Windows services that can be used to create
the interface you need. With DSRAZOR you can extract data from Windows and Active
Directory and import data directly into Active Directory. You can save applets as standalone
applications that can be distributed to those users where required.

You can define DSRAZOR applets to have specific entry points to Active Directory. For
instance you create a management applet. With DSRAZOR you can require the applet
show only one container or container branch – such as what you might want to give to a
helpdesk user. Further refinement is available via a wide range of rules that can be used
to automatically filter what is viewed – for instance, all administrative accounts can be
automatically removed from the view or only those users whose accounts are locked,
perhaps those accounts that have never logged in and so on.

Applets can also be designed to import users including features such as the generation of
random passwords and populating of specific Active Directory attributes. For added
security, DSRAZOR applets ‘run’ within the privileges of the ‘current user’, therefore, if
the current user’s account does not have ordinary privileges to reset passwords or create
new accounts they will not receive these privileges by using DSRAZOR applets.

Using DSRAZOR’s patented interface gives you the power to create report queries that
can be saved as applets that can be used interactively or, with a few clicks, be
configured to run as a stand-alone application that be run via batch file, scheduler or
other ‘background’ method. Regular DSRAZOR applets are stored as .DSR files that are
interpreted at runtime, however, when you save your DSRAZOR applets as stand-alone
applications they are saved directly to the .EXE format that enables your ‘scripts’
(applications) to be distributed and used as required. This powerful ability of DSRAZOR
essentially allows you to create your own ‘scripts’ via a point-and-click interface that can
