• Single-step UniPrint deployment for physical & virtual desktop environments:
SIMPLE REGISTRATION - Multiple UniPrint Server licenses can be registered online in one easy step.
CENTRALIZED LICENSING - Administrators need only to install one license file on the license server, designated from any machine that has a UniPrint component installed, regardless of the number of UniPrint Servers deployed.
EASY ACCESS TO LICENSE INFORMATION - License information can be viewed at any office location from any machine that has a UniPrint component installed: from UniPrint Spool Server, UniPrint Server, or UniPrint Print Server. In addition, licensing information is updated in real time, and licenses usage can be viewed as they are being checked out.
• Enhanced print speed and quality - UniPrint compresses print jobs to PDF files promoting fast printing. The new font caching and replication features further reduce the print job size, improving the overall printing speed and print job quality.
• Secure printing - UniPrint end users can take advantage of the secure printing feature on major brand-name printers. Print jobs are held at the printer until the user enters his/her PIN code at the physical printer.
• Advanced printer functions - Administrators can create unique printer profiles based on advanced printer functionalities such as stapling, hole punching, binding, and other printer-specific features.
• Support for USB printers attached directly to thin client devices running Windows CE/Windows Embedded CE.

While Server-based computing (Sbc) on the Windows platforms has simplified administration, and effectively reducing the operating costs of many IT departments, it has managed to complicate what many have come to take for granted, printing.
With UniPrint, printing to network or local printers, USB printers or even specialized devices is all performed by a single Universal Print driver, eliminating extra configuration and confusing options for users. The basic UniPrint solution can be supplemented with currently two optional modules, Gateway and Web Module. These Modules extend Uniprint to include Thin Client and Internet printing capabilities.
